- Tipatet Saroni Nasipa is the maker behind Nasipa Beadit & Seley Leather. Nasipa Beadit carries Maasai (Maa) bead language; Seley Leather shapes full-grain hide into bags and accessories. Together they produce bespoke, handcrafted fashion accessories from Kenya.
- What is Nasipa Beadit?
- Nasipa Beadit (Beadit) is a Maasai beadwork house. Beads are strung by hand into neck pieces, necklaces, bracelets, beaded bangles, hats, lanyards, keyholders, ruracio accessories, and other handicrafts that keep Maa colour meaning intact.
- What is Seley Leather?
- Seley Leather (Seley) is the full-grain leather studio beside Nasipa Beadit. The house cuts and stitches leather bags, leather handbags, tote bags, duffle bags, backpacks, cosmetic bags, canvas bags, and beaded leather details — including leather stitching finished by hand.
- Do you make Maasai beadwork and fashion accessories?
- Yes. We handcraft Maasai (Maa) beadwork and fashion accessories: beaded hats and fedora hats, beaded lanyards, blankets and Maasai fleece blankets, dog collars, bangles, bracelets, necklaces, beaded jewellery pots, and more. Bespoke colourways are available.
- Can I commission ruracio accessories or school programmes?
- Yes. Commission ruracio accessories, ceremony jewellery, and branded pieces. For education, we run Beadwork Club sessions and educational school trips that teach beadwork, pattern, and leather stitching to learners.
- Do you ship Maasai handicrafts outside Kenya?
- Yes. Handcrafted pieces leave the Kenya studio for homes worldwide. Confirm sizing, leather, bead colour, and shipping on WhatsApp before making.
